Page titles and meta descriptions, H1 presence and count, canonical declarations, noindex signals, image ALT coverage, social metadata and structured data detection. It also checks for recognizable robots.txt and sitemap.xml files.
A clearer picture of your website
Analyze your website for SEO, performance, mobile, security and technical issues. Get an instant website health report and discover what needs to be fixed.
We show each stage as it starts. Google runs the four Lighthouse categories together.
Know what is being tested
One public page, its technical signals and available mobile or desktop lab results. A focused starting point for your website audit.
Page titles and meta descriptions, H1 presence and count, canonical declarations, noindex signals, image ALT coverage, social metadata and structured data detection. It also checks for recognizable robots.txt and sitemap.xml files.
Server fetch time, redirect count and decoded HTML size. Available mobile or desktop Lighthouse results add performance measurements and returned resource diagnostics; this is not a full-page transfer-size measurement.
A device-width viewport declaration and mobile or desktop Lighthouse results when available. Responsive layout and real-device usability still benefit from hands-on testing.
HTTPS on the final URL and HTTP response status, plus best-practices audits returned by Lighthouse. This is not a vulnerability scan or a comprehensive security-header audit.
Image ALT attribute coverage and the HTML document language, plus available Lighthouse accessibility audits. Automated checks cannot establish complete accessibility compliance.
Scope matters: source HTML checks do not run JavaScript. The checker does not crawl your whole website or verify every linked resource. Google results depend on API availability; missing data is identified in the report.
Read the report with context
A Website Health Score is this tool?s composite summary of available checks, from 0 to 100. It helps you prioritize work; it is not a Google ranking score.
Performance contributes 30%, SEO 25%, accessibility 15%, best practices 15% and custom page checks 15%. Lighthouse supplies the first four categories when available. The page-check score uses the impact-weighted share of passed checks.
Unavailable components are excluded and the remaining weights are normalized. A page-check-only report covers 15% of the formula, so a high partial score should not be compared directly with a full report.
A low score means available checks found issues worth investigating. Start with failed page access, HTTPS and unintended indexing restrictions, then tackle the highest-impact recommendations.
Small issues, real friction
Your website needs to be discoverable, usable and dependable. A regular website performance test and technical review help reveal changes that deserve attention.

Use your report as a starting point. Some issues below require a separate manual review or a broader technical SEO audit.
Impact: Visitors lack a clear page label in search and browser tabs.
Recommended action: Add a unique title that describes the page.
Impact: Missing or vague copy gives less useful context for a search snippet.
Recommended action: Write a concise, page-specific summary; search engines may choose a different snippet.
Impact: The main topic may be harder to follow when headings lack a clear hierarchy.
Recommended action: Review the structure and use H2/H3 for supporting sections. Multiple H1s are not automatically invalid.
Impact: Meaningful images may lose their purpose for screen-reader users.
Recommended action: Describe informative images and use empty ALT attributes for decorative images.
Impact: Duplicate page versions may send unclear consolidation signals.
Recommended action: Choose a preferred URL and declare an appropriate canonical.
Impact: Delays can postpone useful content reaching visitors.
Recommended action: Review hosting, backend work and caching. Use available lab diagnostics to investigate further.
Impact: Dead destinations interrupt journeys and content discovery.
Recommended action: Run a separate link crawl and repair destinations or redirects; this checker does not crawl internal or external links.
Impact: Crawlers may have less help discovering important pages.
Recommended action: Publish a sitemap or verify its alternate location. This tool checks only the root /sitemap.xml path.
Impact: Unintended directives can block crawling of useful pages.
Recommended action: Review directives manually. The tool checks file availability and recognizable format, not directive correctness.
Impact: A site may lack useful browser protections.
Recommended action: Review response headers separately and configure policies appropriate to the site; this tool does not provide a complete header audit.
Impact: HTTP resources on HTTPS pages can be blocked or weaken the visitor experience.
Recommended action: Inspect browser diagnostics and any returned Lighthouse findings; replace insecure resource URLs with working HTTPS URLs.
Impact: Search engines have less explicit information about the content type.
Recommended action: Add relevant schema and validate it separately. This checker detects markup presence, not schema validity.
Impact: Content can appear too wide or difficult to use on small screens.
Recommended action: Set a device-width viewport, then test layouts, navigation and touch targets on real devices.
An actionable first look
Enter your URL to analyze detectable technical and SEO signals. Your free website audit brings findings and recommended fixes into one report, with a full scan sometimes taking up to 90 seconds.
Use this website SEO audit to choose your next steps. A broader technical SEO audit should also examine site architecture, crawling, content and issues across multiple pages. No automated score can promise higher rankings.

Useful answers
A website SEO checker reviews detectable page signals such as titles, headings, canonical declarations and indexability directives to highlight issues for review. It does not predict rankings.
Enter a public page URL and select Analyze Website. Review the score, report coverage and recommended fixes. Repeat for other important pages because this tool does not crawl your whole site.
Yes. You can run a website health check without signing up. Request limits may apply to keep the service available.
It checks source HTML, HTTPS, HTTP status, redirects, robots.txt and sitemap.xml availability. When Google PageSpeed Insights returns data, the report also includes mobile or desktop Lighthouse performance, SEO, accessibility and best-practices results.
Review Critical and Needs Improvement findings. Each finding explains what was detected, why it matters and a recommended action. Confirm the issue before changing intentional settings such as noindex.
Problems that prevent crawling or indexing can limit search visibility. Other technical and usability issues can affect the visitor experience. Fixing warnings alone does not guarantee a ranking improvement.
Run a check after a redesign, migration or major plugin, theme or content change. Regular reviews can help you catch regressions; choose a schedule that fits how often your site changes.
The tool labels 90-100 Excellent, 75-89 Good, 50?-74 Needs Improvement and 0-49 Poor. Always check report coverage: a high partial score is not equivalent to a complete report.
Yes. It reports server fetch time and decoded HTML size. When PageSpeed data is available, it also shows measured mobile or desktop Lighthouse performance results. Server fetch time includes DNS, redirects and HTML transfer; it is not a browser load time.
Start with critical access and HTTPS problems, then review indexability, metadata, performance and usability findings. Follow each recommendation, retest after changes, or ask Webinhance to help with implementation.
